CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WEECH FAMILY

of Fort Lauderdale, FL

Water retrieves to hand at just 4 months of age!  Never too young to start...

Major began gun dog 'pre-school' when he was just three weeks old.  By the time he was two months old, he was launching off the pond bank for some fast water entries.  He began water retrieves at three months.

Major is shown below in images taken on November 28, 2008 - barely 4 months old.  He is completing water retrieves to hand and does a good job (for a young pup) of holding steady until released.

So far, Major has done very well with kennel training, and obedience.  He had a whistle sit down by 3-1/2 months, and does well on "here" and a whistle call.  He is working on "heel" and his whistle stop.  Major has a super solid foundation as a gun dog and makes an excellent title prospect!

We anticipate that his size will rival his sire's - probably about 25" at the shoulder and around 90 lbs.
