CONGRATULATIONS to
JEREMY HOWELL of Kinta, Oklahoma!

Water retrieves at just 4 months of age?  You betcha!

Cajun began her 'pre-school' training as a gun dog when she was just three weeks old.  She'd retrieve anything we'd toss...   we could even hide it and she'd still retrieve!  She also did a great job of "sniffing out" her mark by the age of 6 weeks.

By the time Cajun was three months old, she was doing launch water entries off the pond bank.  At only 4 months of age, she can hold the line pretty well and is intent when given a mark.  Cajun has her whistle sit down and is coming along well on her whistle stop.   She is working on "heel" and "here" - returning consistently on a trill whistle call.  She is kennel/crate trained and house broken.

Cajun is a chocolate dog with a yellow coat - she can throw chocolate and cream pups.  She is a highly energetic pup who lives to retrieve and is an excellent title prospect!  At 4 months old, Cajun weighs 40 lbs.  We expect her to finish out at 75-80lbs.

Cajun is shown below performing water retrieves at one of our ponds on November 28, 2008 - barely 4 months old.
