KENNEL POLICIES & PROCEDURES
We breed, raise & train large, stout, hardy gun dogs from proven hunting lines.
Breeding stock, academy candidates and gun dog prospects are selected from each litter,
based on temperament, retrieving drive, birdiness, tractability, focus/calmness,
adaptability (esp. water & gunfire), hardiness & conformation.
Pups scoring highest in our assessments advance to our Jump Start academy.
When academy openings are filled, the remaining pups with sufficient scores
are made available for sale as gun dog prospects.
Any pups lacking sufficient potential to become a solid gun dog
are made available for sale as a companion dog.
Companion dogs are not always available.
Reservations for Jump Start Graduates and Gun Dog Prospects
are given first priority.
ALL reservations require a puppy application, a sales contract and a 20% deposit.
Pups must be picked up within 30 days of release or deposit is forfeited.
OR
Arrangements for delayed pick-up may be made with monthly kennel fee of $100.00
PRICING:
Jump Start Graduates - $1,800.00
Gun Dog Prospects - $800.00 (must take delivery by day 60*)
Companion Pups - $600.00 (when available, must take delivery by day 60*)
monthly fee of $100.00 applies to pups remaining beyond 60 days.
TRAINING FEES:
Obedience/House Manners - $300.00/month (includes kennel & feed)
Gun Dog - $400.00/month (includes kennel & feed)
