At just 5 weeks old, Ducky was enamored with the game of fetch.

Ducky began her 'pre-school' training as a gun dog when she was just three weeks old. She loved the game of fetch from the first time we tossed an old sock... and she'd fetch anything after that!
By the time Ducky was two months old, she was in the pond and swimming after marks. Still rather small to fit her mouth around most dummies, this determined little gal was going to make it happen. She stood out in the litter as the pup with the most vivacious drive to retrieve, thus earning the name "Ducky" - the duckiest in the litter!
Ever the intent student, she'd study 'daddy', then imitate him, watching time after time as the mark flew into the air. When it came her time to retrieve, she knew exactly what to do! This little pup quickly won the hearts of everyone she came in contact with, as she is a very lively and outgoing pup.
