Gauge has plenty of natural instinct. She loves the game, people and learning. She's also adorable and loves affection. Gauge is going to be one of those wonderful dream dogs that give you all they've got in the field all day, then curl up at your feet beside the hearth. The perfect companion for field and fireside!

Bolt Action Bear

"Bear"

Bear impressed us most with his 'lock-in' when spoken to since he was a tiny pup. This pup doesn't do the usual 'puppy antics.' He is quiet, focused and intent, and he acts like an adult when given free reign in the house. I expect him to have Sarge's intensity as an adult. His calm demeanor and ability to focus make Bear a super fast learner. He is competitive and his desire to 'win' drives him to excel in all he does.

Outside City Limits

"Rebel"

This little guy is what we refer to as a 'sleeper'. He was pretty lax about his retrieving until we took him to the ponds and started his obedience training. He has a real love for the water, is very birdy and has really developed some focus and purpose since starting his obedience training. Bound to be an absolutely great hunting buddy, we'll be excited to place Rebel where he can get out and do what he loves most.

Quickshot Ricochet

"Rico", "Shay", "Ricky"

Ricochet is an all-around great pup. Rico learns easily, is competitive & athletic, tractable and has a strong retrieving drive as well as love of water. Rico is the 'total package' and will be staying on at the Iron Spike. She's will make some awesome contributions to our gun dog program!

Radar Detector

"Radar"

This is one pup that never fails to impress! The most consistent performer in the class, Radar almost never misses a beat. It's a pleasure to work with a pup from which you almost always know what to expect. Radar has great conformation and muscle, too! I'm looking forward to seeing what he's capable of. Slick Black Ice

"Slick"

What a great little gal with so much potential! Slick learns quickly and has the drive and desire to go again and again. She is also put together really well - great conformation, temperament and a good head on her shoulders. Slick has great tractability and desire to please, which is her key motivation for learning and performing. She is going to make a great pal for field & fireside!

Midnight Stryker

"Stryker"

Stryker is a very affectionate pup with lots of energy. He has a strong desire to please and has come a long way since he was started in obedience. Stryker has a great nose and strong game finding instincts. He also has a tendency to point and will make an excellent flusher.

"Deuce" (Deuce's Wild)

This little gal is one HARD WIRED retrieving pup! Let her out of the kennel and all she can think about is "Where's the bumper?" Amazing energy and enthusiasm mixed with incredible focus. She will sit at your feet just knowing that's what it takes to send that bumper flying one more time. And with Deuce, one more time is never enough!

Cool'n Steady Wingman
"WingMan"

Because of his size, conformation and drive, we

had planned to keep WingMan. However, he has such a big heart, he deserves a family of his very own. WingMan would make a great contribution to our breeding program, but it would be a disservice to keep him from having a good, loving family while also getting to go hunting.
