JUMP START ACADEMY

The purpose of the Jump Start Academy is to take the guesswork out of buying a future gun dog. You don't have to wonder if your pup can pass the 'three keys': water, gunfire and natural retrieve. Every Jump Start Graduate demonstrates his potential to become a future gun dog. How much of that potential you want us to develop, is up to you.

Puppy price includes:

Puppy purchase, AKC registration, Jump Start Academy (Level I, II or III), de-wormings, all puppy shots, microchip implant, kennel fees,

feed and one coaching session for new handlers, plus follow-up support.

JSA LEVEL I: Pups graduate at 12-16 weeks and are:

Introduced to crate/kennel

Introduced to facsimile gunfire

Introduced to duck/goose calls

Introduced to retrieving - land/water

and given a basic start in

Obedience
House breaking

Whistle commands

Steadiness on lead

JSA LEVEL I PRICE: $1,500.00

JSA LEVEL II: Pups graduate at 4-6 months and are:

Crate/kennel trained
Fired over with small
    gauge firearms
Retrieving to hand on
   land & water
Trained in basic
   obedience &

and started in

House breaking
Steadying

JSA LEVEL II PRICE: $1,800.00 - $2,000.00

JSA LEVEL III: Pups graduate at 4-7 months and are:

Obedience trained for field & home
Crate/kennel trained
Fired over in-field with shotguns
Trained in basic whistle commands
Retrieving to hand on land & water
Steady & Introduced to Honoring
Introduced to Live & Dead Birds
Started on Blind Retrieves

GUN DOG PROSPECTS

Gun dog pups are released at 7 weeks of age. These pups from have been assessed for their potential to become gun dogs. Gun Dog Prospects will have been exposed to and shown no adverse reactions to:

Water

Facsimile gunfire

Retrieving games

Duck calls

Whistle call

GUN DOG PROSPECT PUP PRICE:

Females: $750.00

Males: $650.00

Inclusive 12 week package price: $1,200.00 male/female

Includes three series of vaccinations, bi-weekly de-wormings, microchip, basic obedience, crate breaking, paper training and AKC registration.

SERVICE DOG PROSPECTS

Service dog prospects may be released at 7 weeks of age. Foundational training for service dogs is available for $500.00/month. Prospects will be exposed to:

Water

Various surfaces

Unfamiliar sounds

Agility challenges

Human handling

Scenting exercises

from continuing to sell our

high quality Labrador Retrievers

as family companions.

COMPANION PUP PRICE:

Therapy pups are released when they have been started in:

Exposure to therapy devices

New handlers will be given information on how to continue to build on this foundation.

THERAPY PUP PRICE:

We produce a limited number of pups each year with a long lead time.

This is due to the fact that we train them from birth to between 3-7 months of age.

It is a time-intensive effort aimed at producing quality, not quantity.

Please plan to reserve your pup well in advance.

To reserve a puppy:

A puppy application, an executed contract plus a 20% deposit are required.
